There are many cheap studs out there made with cheap materials that wear out quickly so New for Fall 23 we have expanded our line of studs to include these new value priced Flat profile studs. All the quality hardened carbide tips of our popular Concave and Hex profile studs but with a more economical price!
These are the same quality as the Studs found in the 45NRTH 60 TPI studded tires and ideal for riders replacing studs in those tires or those who still want full studded tire traction but do not need to ultimate performance and lighter weight of our Aluminum encased Concave and larger Hexed studs.
We work directly with the top Tire stud manufacturers and buy in large volume directly to bring you more options in a quality Carbide stud. Like our Concave and HEX studs, these are designed to work with all tires with stud pockets.
Our studs have the same 2 piece casing and hardened tungsten carbide offered by other leading market studs and use the same installation tools or our own more ergonomic tool (trust us after you have installed a tire you will appreciate the larger handle!).

Our Studs are the same 6.5mm base designed to fit all brands of Fat bike tire pockets!
Quantity: Packs of 100, 250, 400, and 500 (most tires offer between 200 and 250 stud locations so you while you can stud some or all on your tires.

Our history with fat biking!
We didn’t come up with the idea but we definitely followed along, closely. The quest to not give up riding in the winter, which is long in our country, began early. The search for the widest tire we could fit on std 26” then 29”. More volume and tire width always made sense as was watching the conditions for the perfect days that would bring a hard snow base to our trails.
Not being engineers, we watched each year anticipating what would evolve to improve the experience. We come from the old school of bike evolution, when bikes didn’t come fully tricked and adding your own flare to your ride was one of the best parts of the journey. Fat Bikes not only make evolutionary sense, but when frames and parts came available it rejuvenated that love for building something original.
Now the fat bike experience can be many things to different riders from dedicated winter bike to year round ripper or bike packing across open country. We’re here to help you discover more on two fat tires wherever you ride in Canada. We take pride in our work to build each customer something they will enjoy each ride 12 months of the year.
Shipping
Wheelsets, Frames, Complete Bikes, and Skin Skis are subject to an OVERSIZE Surcharge.
We ship on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
If we receive your order by noon on these days we can often get your order out same day or it will go out the next shipping day with the method you have selected.
We will always try to ship orders out as quickly as possible.
Domestic orders are shipped Canada Post, UPS or Purolator depending on the item and your selected service and when your order ships you will receive tracking details via email address provided.
If you require an alternate shipping option or for Remote Area orders please contact us prior to placing your order and we will provide a shipping quote.
Returns
Our policy is you may return an item(s) which are unused and in original packaging up to 15 days after receiving them.
This does not include Clearance items which are final sale. Please make your return request through email (eh@fatbikes.ca) noting the item (s) you would like to return.
Those items must be in their original packaging and in the very condition you received them.
Please note that we have a ‘Restocking Fee’ of 15% for any and all products returned if you had received free shipping with your order. If your original shipping and handling was a higher rate than 15% of the purchase that will be the charge instead.
So please insure proper compatibility before proceeding with an order. You are responsible for the full cost of shipping your return back to us.
There may be certain items that are Non-Refundable and cannot be returned such as various wearables/underwear
