Terrene Johnny 26 x 5.0 Tire

Plowing through a layer of fresh morning snow, or grinding on into the unknown in the dead of winter—adverse riding conditions require flotation and traction to keep you on the surface and moving forward when stopping is not an option. Johnny 5 is our extreme soft conditions tire, intended to deliver the float and traction needed to continue moving forward when surface density is questionable. Designed with a wide platform, tall paddle lugs, and 320 studs for maximum traction, the full 5” width Johnny 5 is the largest, most aggressive fat tire available.

Johnny 5 is ready to ride. Share your experience with others by leaving your review.

Just received these and they installed easily. First ride mix of hard packed snow and some icy flat and off-camber turns. Wow. I felt like i was riding summer hard packed dirt! Confidence level increased 10x. Carrying speed through sketchy corners made the ride faster and I could extend the ride because I was less tired. Climbing and braking excellent. Made my ride much more fun, although much less challenging to stay on the bike! Can’t wait to try them on glare ice.

These are the best tires by far, playful, stable, amazing floatation. Fully studded they stick to the ice and hardpack like gloves. Perfect for Gatineau park conditions.

  3. marc orchyk

These are the best tires I have ever had. I ride in Nelson BC. Where we have lots of mixed conditions all winter. Great in the soft snow, hard pack and ice (blue ice even) we do lots of climbing in all conditions as well and if you can’t get up to a trail with these tires then nothing would work.
