1 review for Corvus Akio (2023)

  1. Ryan Atkins

I got the Corvus Akio to race the Iditarod 350mi fat bike race in Alaska. I ended up winning the race on this bike and loved it for every pedal stroke. For reference, i’m 5’11” and rode a 20″ with 50mm stem. Fit was perfect. I have long legs for my height. NOTES:
-running 27.5 wheels is a game changer for fat bikes. They are heavier, but much more floatation and roll over crust easier.
-Frame has loads of mounting points for everything you need to bring. The Corvus rack fits perfectly too.
-Bike is very light and stable. really a pleasure to ride
-I’d drop the front end a little and run lighter tires to turn this into a full on racing rig. Geometry is good for bikepacking or racing or anything in between.
-This bike seems very durable. I had no issues, or creaks or anything with it.
