9ZERO7 Whiteout Carbon 2016/17
The Whiteout frame uses a 197mm rear dropout spacing to work in conjunction with a 12mm thru-axle 197mm rear hub. This gives unmatched strength and stability. By utilizing 197mm spacing, the Whiteout can be built as either a super light race bike with “narrow” wheels, or a high performance adventure rig with the widest fat bike rims and tires on planet.
The Whiteout frameset is designed in conjunction with the new 9:ZERO:7 197mm hub set. The rear hub is completely convertible, so it is compatible with both the 190mm and carbon 197mm frames.
This build is based on the new SRAM GX1 1 X 11 drivetrain. SRAM GX1 offers high end race level quality and is essentially equal quality to the SRAM X9 10 speed groupo. GX1 has excellent shifting action, is durable, and is the most affordable 11 speed groupo on the market at the current time. 1 x 11 offers the rider a full gear range without the added weight and hassle of using a front derailleur.
